The purpose of Slice is to unlock that potential. To realize this vision, Slice is building the World Marketplace: decentralized infrastructure designed to make Ethereum the base layer for settlement and coordination across payments, listings, fulfillment, identity, and reputation.
The Slice protocol today serves as its foundation, with:

- an open-source library of hooks to extend stores, products, and payment flows
- verifiable onchain data to support listings, orders, and reputation
- built-in incentives to align buyers, merchants, referrers, agents, and platforms
